- Marmalade with marijuana was found in Sheremetyevo from a Russian who arrived from Bangkok

Customs officers at Sheremetyevo Airport found marijuana marmalade in the luggage of a Russian tourist arriving from Bangkok. This was announced on June 2 by the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia.
It is specified that the presence of prohibited cargo was suspected by a service dog named Egoza, who showed interest in the suitcase on the tape that seemed suspicious to her.
"During the inspection of his personal belongings in the "green" corridor, inspectors found a transparent jar with the inscription BUDS. It contained four red marmalades weighing 22 g," said Ekaterina Pushenkova, Chief Inspector of Sheremetyevo Customs.
The examination confirmed that the sweets contain a narcotic substance. The Russian was detained, and in a criminal case on drug smuggling he could face a term of 3 to 7 years and a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
On June 28, Belarusian customs officers at the Kamenny Log checkpoint in Grodno stopped the import of a large batch of hashish weighing about 100 kg from Europe. It was established that the drug transportation was organized by Belarusians and accomplices from Lithuania by prior agreement. They tried to import the drug under the floor panels of the truck at the checkpoint under the guise of "concentrated pear puree." A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 328-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus ("Illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs").
