A major drug dealer with 7.5 kg of banned substances was detained in St. Petersburg.

A major drug dealer suspected of organizing an online store was detained in St. Petersburg. This was announced on July 2 by a source of Izvestia.

"[He] acted as a pawnbroker: he placed 111 coordinates with drugs," the source said.

During the searches, about 7.5 kg of drugs, four packages and 17 boxes of unidentified substances, as well as 1.6 million rubles, $2.5 thousand (about 190 thousand rubles) and €135 (about 12.5 thousand rubles) were seized from a 30-year-old man.

In addition, electronic scales, packaging materials and a computer for managing the store were found in his apartment in the Nevsky district. It is noted that a criminal case has been opened into the incident.
