In Krasnoyarsk, an emergency threat was announced after the subsidence of the ground near the house

A threat of a municipal emergency has been announced in Krasnoyarsk after subsidence of soil under the entrance wall of a five-story building on Bograd Street. This was reported on July 2 in the Telegram channel of the city hall.

"Following the meeting [of the city emergency commission chaired by the acting head of Krasnoyarsk Alexei Shuvalov], a threat of a municipal emergency was announced," the statement said.

It was decided that from July 2, emergency recovery work will be carried out near house No. 114. It was also instructed to conduct an instrumental inspection of the building, which will allow assessing the condition of the structures.

"In my opinion, of course, it (the house. — Ed.) emergency. I've requested an expert examination myself twice. I have sent all these documents to the relevant authority today. The response to the examination was that everything was in order. <...> We provided a hotel for a week, and then we will see, a decision will be made where we will be settled," local resident Oksana Vorontsova told Izvestia.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in a five-story building in Krasnoyarsk, the ground collapsed under a load-bearing wall. Because of this, residents had to be evacuated from the building. According to preliminary data, the subsidence of the load-bearing wall of the house and the foundation to a depth of 1 m occurred due to soil erosion.
