Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a decree suspending cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This was reported by Tasnim news agency on July 1.

"The law on the suspension of cooperation with the IAEA has been officially published. Peseshkian announced the entry into force of the law on the suspension of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)," the Telegram channel says.

At the same time, the deputy head of Iran's judiciary commented on the possibility of a trial in absentia against the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi. According to him, "this issue belongs to international affairs and should be dealt with through appropriate channels."

As noted in the article, the Office of International Law of Iran is engaged in documenting these crimes and plans to file lawsuits in international instances to compensate for moral and material damage caused, in Iran's opinion, by US aggression.

The Reuters news agency reported on June 29 that Grossi told about the loss of 400 kg of enriched uranium after the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. It was specified that this amount of raw materials, if enriched to a weapons-grade level, would be enough to create nine nuclear warheads.

Igor Yushkov, an expert at the Financial University and a leading analyst at the National Energy Security Fund, suggested in an interview with Izvestia on June 30 that Iran might try to shift part of the responsibility for the disappearance of enriched uranium onto the IAEA.
