The Prosecutor's office of the Altai Territory will check information about the abandonment of a child in a kindergarten in Barnaul. This was announced on July 2 by the press service of the department.

A statement was posted on social media stating that a kindergarten student had been left unattended.

As specified by "Gazeta.Ru", on the evening of July 1, the child's mother came for her son at about 18:20, but the group was already closed. By that time, all the children had already been taken away, but the woman had not found her child.

Later, an evening teacher approached the building, who stated that the boy was allegedly taken away by an elderly man. Law enforcement officers and kindergarten staff who arrived at the scene examined the territory and found the child at about 20:30. According to the newspaper, the boy was in the toilet, in a closet with mops.

On behalf of the prosecutor of the Altai Territory, Anton German, an inspection was organized.

"If there are grounds, comprehensive measures of the prosecutor's response will be taken," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.

Earlier, on June 25, a criminal case was opened into the fact that a tree fell on a child in a Kaliningrad kindergarten. According to the investigation, officials of the institution ignored the daily emergency forecast of increased wind in the region and took the children for a walk. As a result, a maple tree fell on a six-year-old child.
