A resident of the Tomsk region was detained for handing over photographs of military installations to the special services of Ukraine. This was reported on July 2 in the FSB department for the region.

"The illegal activities of a resident of the region who assisted representatives of the special services and organizations of Ukraine in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation have been suppressed," RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying.

It is clarified that the accused sent photographs of military installations in the Tomsk region to the Ukrainian special services, which he took in order to further use them in planning and committing sabotage and terrorist attacks. The investigative department of the FSB in the region has opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "High treason".
