A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Crimea for justifying a drone attack on the Kremlin under the article on public calls for terrorism, its justification or propaganda. This was announced on July 2 by the press service of the FSB of Russia for the republic and the city of Sevastopol.

"A criminal case has been opened against the citizen on the grounds of a crime under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation <...>. The sanction of this article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to seven years," the message says.

As a result of operational search measures, it was established that a man under the pseudonym "Ai Yai" from his Telegram page wrote a comment justifying drone attacks on the residence of the President of Russia in the Kremlin. Linguistic expertise has also confirmed this.

During the investigative actions, law enforcement agencies at the place of residence of the suspect confiscated the computer with which the illegal activity was committed.

On July 2, a criminal case was opened against a resident of Tuva for treason for transmitting information to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) about ways to prevent the border between Russia and Mongolia. The defendant was detained under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of the activities of a terrorist organization and participation in the activities of such an organization").
