In the Engels district of the Saratov region, a child was killed in an accident, two children and an adult were injured. This was announced on July 2 by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

The accident occurred at 07:40 (06:40 Moscow time) near the turnoff to the village of Generalskoye. As a result of the incident, a Gazelle and a Lada Granta collided.

"As a result of the accident, a Lada Granta passenger, a girl born in 2022 was killed, the driver and passengers of the light car were a woman born in 1996, a boy born in 2025 and a girl born in 2024 were taken to a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel says.

At the moment, law enforcement officers are working at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
