The ground collapsed under the load-bearing wall of a five-story building in Krasnoyarsk, which forced the evacuation of residents and shutting off the water supply network. This was announced on July 2 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"It was previously established that <...> due to the erosion of the soil, the load-bearing wall of the house and the foundation sagged to a depth of 1 m. The residents of the entrance were evacuated, the water supply networks were blocked," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

They added that experts are checking the circumstances and causes of the destruction of the soil, as well as assessing the timeliness of the actions of the management company and the local government to prevent an emergency.
