The Zapad group of forces destroyed an M119 howitzer and five Starlink stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Over the past day, soldiers of the Western Group of Forces destroyed an American-made M119 howitzer, five Starlink satellite communication stations, as well as a T-64 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on July 2 by the head of the group's press center, Ivan Bigma.

"During the day, losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 220 military personnel, a T-64 tank, 12 vehicles, a US—made M119 cannon and 12 mortar crews," TASS quoted Bigma as saying.

According to him, the Russian military also managed to eliminate 56 control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), an electronic warfare station, four ammunition depots and 27 aircraft-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, formations of two mechanized, automobile and assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as territorial defense brigades in the areas of Gorokhovatka, Petrovka, Kupyansk, Dvurechansk, Nizhny Solyony, Putnikov, Sobolevka, Petropavlovsk, Sandy and Borovskaya Andreevka were defeated.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculation of the self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) 2S19 "Msta-S" of the Center group of forces destroyed the camouflaged command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special operation.
