The air temperature in Moscow will rise and return to July standards from Tuesday, July 8. This was announced on July 2 by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
"According to preliminary calculations, after a surge in heat on Thursday and Friday, and a drop in temperature on Saturday and Sunday, starting next week, starting on Tuesday, the temperature background in Moscow will gradually return to normal," Vilfand told Interfax.
He specified that the air in the capital will heat up to +23...+25 degrees. According to the forecaster, July weather is expected throughout the next week, including increased nighttime temperatures.
Vilfand reported on July 1 that outbreaks of hot weather are expected in the European part of Russia from the second decade of July. According to him, temperatures above normal are forecast for the entire Urals, including the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, as well as the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Tyumen regions.
