The Pentagon's suspension of supplies of certain types of ammunition to Ukraine raises questions about the West's real ability to continue supporting Kiev. This opinion was expressed on July 2 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"Such a step raises questions about the real possibilities of the West to continue supporting Ukraine and about priorities in American defense policy itself," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

On June 1, Politico reported on the Pentagon's plans not to send anti-aircraft missiles and other precision-guided munitions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the publication, this decision was made due to concerns that the US ammunition had decreased.
