In the first half of July, moderately warm weather with short-term rains is expected in the center of European Russia, meteorologists told Izvestia.
24-25 degrees Celsius is expected on Thursday and Friday, July 3 and 4, and 18-20 degrees by the first weekend of July, said Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center. By the middle of the month, the air temperature will average 22-24 degrees.
Starting from July 3, the weather in the capital region will be determined by the crest of the anticyclone, added Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency.
"The air temperature will rise, but for now it will remain below the climatic norm. The weather will be without precipitation, the maximum air temperature will be 23-25 degrees," she said.,
According to her, the forecasts do not promise extreme heat, but in the second decade of the month the air temperature will be close to the climatic norm.
