The Houthi armed forces from the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement launched a hypersonic missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and attacked three Israeli cities using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported on July 1 in the press service of the movement, citing a representative of the Armed Forces.

"The Armed Forces announced that they had attacked Ben Gurion Airport in Lod with a hypersonic ballistic missile, and also launched three more operations to attack three vulnerable targets in Jaffa, Ashkelon and Umm al-Rashrash using three drones," the statement said.

It is specified that the operation, which "successfully achieved its goal," used a hypersonic ballistic missile model "Palestine-2." The movement noted that these strikes were "a response to crimes against the residents of the Gaza Strip" and were carried out in order to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on June 28 that in the morning the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) launched an attack on Israeli territory — a rocket launch was recorded from Yemen. Later, the Houthis confirmed a ballistic missile attack on a "sensitive" target in the city of Beersheba in southern Israel.
