The Israeli Defense Minister announced new strikes on Yemen in response to the shelling.

Israel is ready to launch attacks on Yemen after a missile attack by the Houthis from the rebel movement Ansar Allah. This was announced on July 1 by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.

"After we hit the head of the snake in Tehran, we will also hit the tail of the snake in Yemen," he said in a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On the same day, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the Israeli army had detected a rocket launch in the direction of the country from Yemen. It was clarified that the missile was intercepted.
