Weather forecasters warned residents of Primorsky Krai about a super typhoon approaching the region. It can cover the edge in July.

According to the UssurMedia news agency with reference to Primhydromet, in the coming days, a typhoon with serious energy potential, which may degenerate into a super typhoon, is possible in the Philippines.

According to preliminary data, it may head for the Yellow Sea, and by July 14 it will approach the Korean Strait. According to one version, the typhoon will enter the Sea of Japan, posing a threat to Primorye. However, according to Boris Kubai, head of the Primorsky Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Department, there is still enough time to launch multi-model scenarios and, if necessary, warn about the threat.

So far, the influence of the frontal zone remains over the region. There are showers with thunderstorms in some places. Next Friday, an atmospheric front will pass through the southern part of the region, precipitation will increase.

Earlier it was reported that on June 30, almost 10% of the monthly precipitation rate, that is, 7 mm, fell in Moscow in a day. In the Moscow region, the most rains were recorded in Pavlovsky Posad — 11 mm, Dmitrov and Elektrostal — 10 mm.
