In the village of Glushkovo, Kursk region, a civilian was killed as a result of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car. This was announced on July 1 by Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein.

"An enemy drone attacked a civilian car in the village of Glushkovo this morning. Unfortunately, the driver, a 59-year—old man, died on the spot," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Khinstein clarified that the relatives of the deceased man will receive the necessary assistance.

Earlier in the day, a civilian was injured in the Belovsky district of the Kursk region due to an APU drone. It was noted that the victim was taken to a medical facility and provided with assistance.
