Russia and Azerbaijan are interested in joint economic projects that are important for the entire South Caucasus. Milan Lazovich, an expert at the Russian Council on International Affairs (RIAC), said this on Tuesday, July 1.

"Stable relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are important for the entire regional dynamics and economic ties in the South Caucasus," he stressed in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

According to Lazovich, the international North—South transport corridor, which runs through the territory of Azerbaijan and connects Russia and India, stands out among such projects. He added that emotions prevail in the relations between the two countries at the moment, but we can hope for future cooperation.
