Baku court arrests Russian journalists for four months

A court in Baku has arrested Igor Kartavykh, head of Sputnik Azerbaijan, and Evgeny Belousov, editor-in-chief, for four months. This was reported by the APA news agency on July 1.

"By a court decision, Igor Kartavykh, executive director of the Baku branch of the Rossiya Segodnya News Agency (Sputnik Azerbaijan), and Evgeny Belousov, editor—in-chief, were sentenced to 4 months in prison," the statement said.
