In the Khabarovsk Territory, two brothers from Moldova are suspected of drug trafficking. This was reported on July 1 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory.

It is noted that an underground workshop was equipped in a private house in the Lazo district. The men also took 12 cans of chemicals from a hiding place in a wooded area and mixed them with reagents and ingredients on the territory of the house. At the same time, the work was carried out at night with the receipt of cooking instructions via messenger.

According to the investigation, the defendants acted on the instructions of an acquaintance to whom they owed a large sum of money in July last year.

"Currently, the investigation of the criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Article 228.3, Part 2 of Article 228.4, Part 5 of Article 228.1, Part 3 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation has been completed. The defendants are being held in custody, and the organizer of the group is on the federal wanted list," the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media said in a statement on its website.

In addition, 470 liters of precursors, 9.5 kg of an intermediate product, as well as various equipment for the manufacture of substances were found during the searches. So, the seized components would be enough to produce more than 7.5 kg of mephedrone.

On June 28, a criminal case was opened in the city of Magas in the Republic of Ingushetia against police officers who were suspected of selling narcotic drugs.
