Sobyanin awarded the authors of the best projects in the field of architecture

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin presented prizes in the field of architecture and urban planning. This is reported in his Telegram channel.

This year, 27 architects, the authors of 12 projects, became laureates. Among them are the projects of the Aviamotornaya and General Tyulenev metro stations. The authors of the residential building project on Malaya Sukharevskaya Square, the new Bauman Moscow State Technical University campus in Brigadirsky Lane, the school on Dmitrov Highway and the sports complex in Ramenki were also noted.

A total of 130 applications were submitted this year, and 50 projects reached the finals. The applications are reviewed by the expert council. The prize of 1 million rubles is awarded to the author or a team of authors (no more than three people) for the development of the most expressive, original and high-quality architectural and urban planning solutions.

The award was established in 2017.
