In the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory, a children's tent camp was evacuated, flooded as a result of rising water levels in the Shebsh River. The district administration reports about this in its Telegram channel.

"Children and staff who were in a tent camp in the village of Mirny were taken out by school buses," the report says.

A sharp rise in water in the Shebsh River occurred on the night of July 1 after heavy rains, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency. By morning, more than 50 house territories and 20 houses were flooded in the village of Shabanovskoye, as well as a bridge in the village of Thamakha and a tent camp in Mirny. In the afternoon, the river rose to the "Unfavorable phenomenon" mark in the area of the village of Grigorievskaya.

A state of emergency has been introduced in the Shabanovskoye rural settlement. A temporary accommodation facility has been deployed on the basis of School No. 2.

A special transport of the fire and rescue garrison has been sent to Shabanovskoye to evacuate the population, if necessary. A specially formed commission will assess the damage caused by the river spill.
