The leading enterprises of the Rostec state Corporation throughout Russia will now be available for guided tours. As reported in the company's press release on July 9, this was made possible by the launch of the federal Rostec project.Promtour".

So, factories specializing in "green" energy, automotive industry and additive technologies for aviation were opened for visitors. Registration for the tour is available on the digital platform of the project on the official website of the state corporation.

You can already visit the Center for Additive Technologies (CAT) and MPO Metallist in Moscow, the waste energy recycling plant in Voskresensk near Moscow, the KAMAZ enterprise in Naberezhnye Chelny and the sports division of the flagship of the Russian automotive industry LADA Sport in Tolyatti.

For example, TSATA employees will demonstrate how aircraft components are created using 3D printers, as well as talk about technologies for selective laser fusion and direct laser cultivation. And guests of the LADA Sport plant will be able to visit the assembly site, where sports versions of cars participating in Russian and international competitions are being created. The tour to KAMAZ includes a visit to the cabin frame factory, where you can see the assembly of truck frames by robots, as well as look at product quality control using 3D modeling technologies. In addition, in the visitor center, participants will get acquainted with the history of the company, legendary truck models and will be able to feel like a part of the famous KAMAZ-Master team.

At the Metallist plant, guests will be shown the full production cycle of modern components for prosthetics, as well as the Kometa microprocessor knee module, which can analyze more than 1,000 signals per second and adapt to each user. At the waste energy management facility, visitors will be able to see not only the process of garbage entering the receiving bunker, but also how electricity is generated.

In the near future, the geography will expand — a facility in Bashkortostan, where the production of electric buses is located, will open for visitors.

According to Ekaterina Baranova, Director of Communications and press secretary of the state corporation, industrial tourism, among other things, carries an important educational mission.

"This is a new way of looking at production, an opportunity to see the work of the machine—building industry from the inside - legendary enterprises with modern technologies. We are convinced that such a format can inspire the younger generation to choose engineering professions. Our goal is to dispel outdated stereotypes and show that modern Russian production consists of advanced technologies, innovations and a team of highly qualified specialists," she stressed.
