Megion Jamaat was added to the list of terrorist organizations in the Russian Federation

The Megion Jamaat terrorist community has been included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorist and extremist organizations. The relevant information appeared on July 1 on the agency's website.

"The terrorist community is the Megion Jamaat," the list says.

The criminals operate from the territory of Ukraine and in the interests of nationalists

In March, Rosfinmonitoring added journalist Alexander Nevzorov (included in the register of foreign agents) and his wife Lydia to the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation as an association. In 2024, the court recognized Nevzorov and his wife as an extremist association and banned their activities in Russia.
