By 2030, the minimum wage in Russia will rise to 35 thousand rubles. This was announced on July 1 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a specialized strategic session.

He noted that on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the government is consistently increasing wages, and these rates are outpacing inflation. So, since the beginning of the year, the minimum wage has increased by more than 16.5% and amounted to 22,400 rubles.

"By 2030, it is necessary to increase the minimum wage to 35 thousand rubles. As you remember, the head of state gave us this assignment," Mishustin said.

On June 20, Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, announced an increase in the minimum wage in Russia in 2026, which will amount to over 27 thousand rubles. According to him, the increase will affect about 4.6 million Russians.
