A Russian man died in a paraglider crash in the mountains of Tajikistan


A Russian man died as a result of a paraglider crash in a mountainous area in Tajikistan. This was announced on July 1 by the press service of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic.
"The body of a citizen of the Russian Federation was found in a rugged area in one of the mountainous areas of the Varzobsky district and handed over to relatives and relevant authorities," the publication on the website says.
It is specified that the citizen of the Russian Federation came to this area for a trip. According to the press service of the department, during the flight, the man's equipment failed, as a result of which he fell and died.
On April 26, a resident of Perm crashed in the Chegem gorge of the Caucasus Range in Kabardino-Balkaria during a paragliding flight. It was clarified that the man made a hard landing in the upper reaches of the gorge.
