The cast of the New Year's comedy "Christmas Trees 12" has been announced

The Bazelevs film company, together with the distributor NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding) and the Toomuch Production film company, announced the cast of the new part of the cult film franchise "Christmas Trees 12". The film will be released widely on December 18, 2025.

The creative producers and screenwriters were Zhora Kryzhovnikov ("Fisher", "The Word of a Kid. Blood on the asphalt", "Ice") and Peter Vnukov, he was also responsible for the creation of the previous part of the franchise — "Christmas Trees 11". The producers are Timur Asadov, Lala Rustamova, Ara Khachatryan, Maria Zatulovskaya and Dmitry Pachulia.

The video opens with a shot of a decorated Christmas tree, on which cards with new and already familiar characters from the franchise novels appear in turn. On the last card there is an image of Dmitry Zhuravlev, it is hung by him. At the end of the video, the artist is radioed into the frame, confirming his appearance in a new story.

"Christmas Trees" is a series of films that all Russians know. Watching the movie has become a warm New Year's tradition for many families. The films remind us that real magic is in human relationships, and on New Year's Eve, miracles happen even to those who have already stopped believing in them," Dmitry Zhuravlev noted.

The upcoming installment of the franchise, "Christmas Trees 12," will tell about the fates of people intertwined in one big story. According to the story, on New Year's Eve, nine-year-old Vanya from Kirov, having learned about the separation of his parents, goes to Veliky Ustyug to ask Santa Claus for a miracle. His journey will be full of unexpected encounters, dangers and trials. Parents rush to find their son, but will they be able to fix everything before the clock strikes twelve?

The films of the franchise always impress with their stellar cast. Last year, the audience was surprised by the appearance of Turkish actor Burak Ozcivit in the cast, and this time the popular comedian, actor and host of one of the most watched and vibrant shows "Natal Map" Dmitry Zhuravlev, as well as a blogger with an audience of millions, singer and actress Masha (Maria Kamova) will take part in the filming of the film.

The stars already familiar from the previous installments will return to the screens in the roles that the audience loved: Ruzil Minekaev ("The Word of the boy. In the new film, Olga Kartunkova ("Once upon a Time in Russia", "Self-Irony of Fate"), Andrey Maksimov ("The Word of a Kid. Blood on the asphalt", "Fisher"), Boris Dergachev ("Free Relations", "How friends married Zakhar"), Konstantin Beloshapka ("Knock on my door in Moscow", "Eleon Hotel"), Tina Stoilkovich ("Offline", "Moscow does not believe in tears. Everything is just beginning"), Yulia Topolnitskaya ("Moscow does not believe in tears. Everything is just beginning", "Second Marriage") and many others.

"The Christmas trees have already become the same symbol of the New Year for the audience, like Olivier or the chiming clock. Now it is part of the cultural code, without which it is difficult to imagine a holiday.
