Further development of bilateral relations will be discussed at the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. This was reported on July 1 in the Kremlin's Telegram channel.
"It is planned to discuss topical issues of further development of Russian-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership and alliance in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres," the message says.
It is noted that the negotiations will take place on July 2 during Japarov's working visit to Russia.
On June 29, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev called the country's relations with Russia special. The diplomat noted that the states strive to increase mutual trade turnover to $5 billion, and economic cooperation occupies a special place in bilateral relations.
