Moscow is attentive to information about the detention of Russian journalists in Baku. This was announced on July 1 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing.
According to him, Russia expects to reach an agreement with the Azerbaijani side on their release in the near future.
"We believe that this extraordinary emotional reaction will be replaced by direct communication, during which all the questions raised will be answered," Peskov said.
