Oleg Zubkov, the director of the Crimean safari park "Taigan", who suffered from a lion attack, is on the mend, there is no question of blood poisoning. Tatiana Aleksagina, the head of the press service of the Taigan Safari Park, told Izvestia about this on July 1.
"Oleg Alekseevich is on the mend. He walks, he eats, he serves himself completely, as I said earlier. He already does big walks like this, yes, he completely manages the park, almost completely, because he can write and send messages here," Aleksagina said.
According to her, the doctors' prognosis for Zubkov's condition is quite unambiguous and favorable. The woman noted that there is no question of blood poisoning, and Zubkov is undergoing a course of antibiotics to avoid infection of wounds.
Lev attacked Zubkov on June 22, inflicting multiple wounds on the man. The victim underwent surgery, and his condition was stabilized. According to Aleksagina, the director of the park attracted the attention of the lion by the sharp sound of the door closing.
A criminal case has been opened into the attack under Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of labor protection requirements resulting in serious harm to human health").
