Two car companies changed car prices in the second half of June


If seven brands changed prices for new cars in the first half of June this year, then only two in the second half. This was reported on July 1 by the analytical agency Autostat.
For example, the Korean brand KGM, which entered the Russian market in February, reduced prices for all its models in the second half of June. The compact crossover Tivoli lost in price by 750 thousand rubles (minus 17.9 — 20.9%) and now costs 2.84-3.44 million rubles. The average—sized Korando fell in price by from 950 thousand to 1.05 million rubles (minus 20.8 - 23.5%) to 3.09-3.99 million rubles.
The Torres KGM crossover has become cheaper by 610-810 thousand rubles (minus 10.3 — 15.1%) and already costs 4.14-5.34 million rubles. The price of the Rexton frame SUV immediately fell by 1 million rubles (minus 13.9 — 14.7%) to 5.79-6.19 million rubles.
In addition, Haval has reduced prices for two models from 2024. The M6 crossover has become cheaper by 50 thousand rubles (minus 2.3 — 2.4%) and costs 2.03-2.15 million rubles. The Jolion crossover lost 100,000 rubles in price (minus 3.7 — 5.3%) and costs 1.8-2.6 million rubles.
From June 1 to June 15, SWM, Sollers, and GAC raised car prices, while Rox, Haval, Chery, and Solaris lowered prices.
The day before, it was reported that Toyota, which is not officially represented on the Russian market, returned to the top ten in terms of car sales in the country.
