The chances are increasing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will withdraw their troops from the right-bank part of the Kherson region. This was announced on June 1 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Everything is possible in the future, if there is a political and military solution. The chances are increasing every day, especially given the internal wear and tear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the growing fatigue in Ukrainian society and the failure of offensive operations," Baldo said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, at the moment it is still too early to talk about such a scenario.

Due to UAV attacks, more than 190 settlements were left without power, water and communications.

On June 30, Baldo said that the Russian military continued raids on the Ukrainian-occupied right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. It is specified that such actions are carried out within the framework of operational practice aimed at deterring Ukrainian militants and intelligence.
