Explosives experts of the Russian Guard in Buryatia destroyed a grenade from the First World War found by a local resident on the site. This was announced on July 1 by the press service of the Rosgvardiya in the Eastern District.

"Employees of the OMON engineering and technical unit of the Rosgvardiya directorate for the Republic of Buryatia identified and destroyed a grenade from the First World War," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the find was discovered by a local resident on a private plot while weeding a potato field.

The authorities of Osnabrück in Germany reported on June 17 that due to the discovery of an unexploded bomb from the Second World War, about 11 thousand residents were forced to leave their homes immediately. It was noted that the shell was discovered during construction work. There were several districts in the danger zone, including the central part of the city.
