Military personnel of the 44th army Corps of the North group of forces opened a temple in the rear area of the special operation in the Kharkov direction. This was announced on July 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

A church was consecrated in the rear area, where soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces prayed in honor of its opening and received communion. This temple is not the first in the association. Thus, new temples are being opened in the locations of soldiers in order to enrich the minds of military personnel and spiritually educate them. In these places, they can retire, pray to God and chat with the priest after the service.

"I believe that the church and faith help a fighter to be honest, help him to skillfully take orders and carry them out," said the squad commander with the call sign Sergeant.

During the festive liturgy of the opening of the church in honor of Bishop St. Ignatius of Stavropol and the Caucasus, the soldiers participated in Holy Communion and talked with the priest.

On April 6, the Ministry of Defense announced that the military personnel of the Center group of forces in the rear area of the special military operation had opened a unique Orthodox dugout church in honor of the holy Prince Dmitry Donskoy. A special feature of the structure is the internal dome, created by the military in difficult field conditions.
