Almost half of Americans believe that the United States will experience an economic collapse in the next 10 years. This was announced on June 30 by YouGov with reference to the survey data.

"45% believe that the United States will most likely cease to be a global superpower in 10 years; the same number believe that the United States will experience a complete economic collapse," the publication says on the organization's website.

In addition, according to the survey, the majority of Americans believe that the United States is experiencing a constitutional crisis. This opinion was shared by 56% of the respondents. In addition, 24% of Americans consider the United States to be a dictatorship, 35% of Democrats and 7% of Republicans voted.

When asked if the United States is a democracy, 28% of the population answered negatively, while 50% of respondents answered positively. 22% of the respondents were undecided.

The study was conducted from June 16 to June 18, in which 1.1 thousand adult Americans participated. It is specified that the statistical error may be 4%.

Bloomberg reported on May 24 that more than half of Americans (56%) noted the negative impact on their family budget of the duties imposed by US President Donald Trump on other countries. About 52% of the respondents noted that the promised economic benefits, in their opinion, will not pay off their economic costs.
