Russian servicemen told about the liberation of Chervona Zirka in the DPR

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces told about the liberation of the settlement of Chervonaya Zirka (Red Star) in the Donetsk People's Republic. On July 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the work of Russian fighters in the Yuzhnodonets area of the special military operation (SVO).

"The difficulties were, of course, precisely related to the road. That is, with overcoming. We worked very professionally, came in unexpectedly and, accordingly, knocked out the enemy from the fortified areas," said a grenade launcher with the call sign Bakhkh.

In addition, the shooter with the call sign Malaya clarified that the Russian military were working in the forest belts. According to him, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are afraid of small arms and often use unmanned aerial vehicles.

Also, the senior shooter with the call sign Oper added that it was the hardest thing to approach the settlement. In addition, he noted that during the offensive, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation acted smoothly. According to him, commanders value their subordinates and try to keep them safe. He said that when the Russian soldiers were passing through the minefield, the command gave the order to first strike it with mortars.

The liberation of the settlement of Chervonaya Zirka became known on June 28. According to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 210 militants in this area during the day, as well as combat vehicles, artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage of the liberation of the settlement.
