A new interchange will appear near the Kornilovskaya metro station in Moscow.

A new transport interchange and an above-ground pedestrian crossing are being built near the Kornilovskaya metro station. This was announced on June 30 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the interchange will facilitate traffic in the Kommunarka area and on the Kaluga highway. As part of the project, 1.8 km of the road network is being built, including exits from the Kaluga highway and two overpasses to the shopping center and the metro station. The work has been completed by 90%, completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, RT clarifies. An above-ground passage across Admiral Kornilov Street will appear next to the northern lobby of Kornilovskaya.
Sobyanin also noted that the Potapovo station already has a 29-meter-long covered overhead gallery connecting the metro with a stop on Alexandra Monakhova Street, Moscow 24 notes. The station is integrated into the road infrastructure, including an overpass at the intersection with the Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoye Highway, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
