Hamas announced the resumption of the negotiation process on Gaza

The negotiation process on a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip intensified after a pause caused by the Iranian-Israeli escalation. This was reported to Izvestia by a source in the Palestinian Hamas movement.
"Contacts and meetings are taking place these days in Cairo and Doha. The mediators have resumed efforts to revive negotiations after the Iranian-Israeli escalation," the movement told Izvestia.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that a truce in Gaza could be reached as early as this week. The Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, citing sources, claims that the focus is now on formulating an interim plan with the opportunity to discuss its details during subsequent rounds.
