Women with 10 or more children will be able to receive new benefits similar to those enjoyed by Heroes of Russia and Heroes of Labor. Such a bill was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on June 30, Izvestia found out.

In particular, it is proposed to extend the benefits provided for Heroes of Russia and Heroes of Labor to women with the title of "Mother Heroine", since it is equivalent in status to them, said Vladimir Gruzdev, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Bar Association.

"Thus, guarantees are provided in the areas of medical care, public utilities, including exemption from paying for housing and utilities. In addition, the draft laws provide for the right to receive a land plot free of charge and provide them with construction materials as a matter of priority. Meanwhile, social benefits and guarantees are not limited to the above," he said.

Vladimir Gruzdev added that the heroine's mother will have the right to replace most of the benefits with a monthly cash payment of 72.4 thousand rubles, subject to annual indexation.
