The former top manager of the Central Bank was arrested in absentia in a fraud case

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest in absentia for two months for Dmitry Rubinov, a former top manager of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, in a particularly large-scale fraud case. This was announced on June 30 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital in the Telegram channel.
He is charged under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud").
It is specified that the verdict will take effect from the moment the defendant is transferred to law enforcement agencies or in the case of his extradition to Russian territory.
Earlier that day, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sentenced William, the son of Russian actor Vadim Demchog, to two years in a general regime penal colony in a fraud case.
