The priority target for Russian artillery has become "nests" — basements and dugouts in which drone operators (UAVs) sit. A correspondent of Izvestia told about this on June 30.

"Recently, the so—called "nests" have increasingly become a priority target for artillery — these are either basements or dugouts in which enemy UAV operators are sitting," he said.

According to him, it has been noticed that if you purposefully and systematically hit them, the activity of drones in the sky decreases.

"Our intelligence detects, tells us the coordinates of the targets, <...> we are working on the points of the UAV. When it is reported that we have hit these points, then, accordingly, yes, they are slowing down somewhere, somewhere the routes they walked along are already there, that is, they fly there less," said Deputy platoon commander Diyar Iskakov.

According to Stanislav Zaitsev, deputy commander of the battalion of the 30th Separate Guards assault brigade of the Center group, the military, before preparing an assault, also causes damage to the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, identifying in advance where they rise from.
