Orban warns NATO against conflict with Russia
NATO's aggression against Russia could lead to the outbreak of World War III. This was announced on June 30 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"If NATO intervenes in the conflict on the side of Ukraine, it threatens World War III," the ORIGO portal quotes him as saying.
He stressed that more and more countries of the alliance understand the danger of open confrontation with Russia and are trying to avoid such a development. The politician added that sooner or later NATO will have to come to an agreement with Russia in order to avoid a new arms race.
On June 28, Orban said that Ukraine's accession to NATO would be comparable to setting fire to a powder keg due to the threat of conflict with the Russian Federation. According to him, Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance would lead to a conflict between NATO and Russia and World War III.
