- Khusnullin spoke about the development of documentation for a tourist city in Zaporizhia

The construction documentation of a new tourist city in the Zaporizhia region is already being developed by specialists. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin told Izvestia about this on June 30.
"We really have a project for a large tourist city in Zaporizhia. There are several thousand residents, tourists living there. We are currently doing construction documentation for the development of this project," Khusnullin said.
According to him, the length of the coastline has already been determined, the necessary amount of communications, roads, and engineering infrastructure have been calculated.
In addition, on the same day, at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the new subjects of the Russian Federation, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the topic of tourism development in Donbass and Novorossiya was promising. Khusnullin cited the example of the completely reconstructed beaches of Mariupol, where tourists come to relax from all over the country.
"This year there are no places at all, tourists went to Mariupol to rest from all over the country. We see that this topic is very promising. The leadership of the regions needs to personally accompany important projects, to lead investors, as they say, by the hand. This is a priority task for the near future," he is quoted as saying on the Kremlin's website.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting on the development of new regions of the Russian Federation, stressed the enormous potential of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, which must be unlocked. He also noted that by 2030, the standard of living there should be equal to the Russian average.
