Russia is re-setting up a support system for participants in a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on June 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We are fine—tuning the support system for the participants of the SVR and their family members precisely on the basis of feedback, as instructed by the President [of Russia Vladimir Putin]," he said during a meeting with members of the Council of the Chamber of the Federation Council.

The Russian Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the senators for their great work in this area.

In addition, he noted that the Government of the Russian Federation supports the initiative of parliamentarians to exempt participants of their activities and their family members from paying state duty when applying to the court.

On June 2, the Government Commission on Legislative Activity approved an initiative according to which members of the free military who were unable to resume service due to their health condition within three months will receive financial assistance. It was noted that the initiative is aimed at protecting the labor rights of ITS participants.
