Dmitry Andreev became the new head coach of the Russian national gymnastics team, replacing Andrei Rodionenko. This was announced on June 30 by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev.

"I have signed an order appointing Honored Coach of Russia Dmitry Andreev to the post of head coach of the Russian national gymnastics team," Degtyarev wrote on his Telegram channel.

The minister noted Andreev's high level of professionalism and called him a man with "modern views." It is noted that Andreev worked as a senior coach of the national reserve team. In addition, Degtyarev expressed gratitude to Rodionenko for the work done.

"I would like to thank Andrey Rodionenko for his work and outstanding results, who has moved from the position of head coach of the national team to the post of adviser to the President of the Russian Gymnastics Federation," he added.

On June 11, the Russian Gymnastics Federation announced the return of Russian athletes and coaches to the world stage. Athletes from the Russian Federation will compete at the 2025 Trampoline World Cup in Portugal, Germany, Bulgaria and France.
