Russia has developed a new application for charging electric vehicles

The Atom electric vehicle development team has presented a mobile application that integrates Russian charging stations. It solves one of the key problems of electric vehicle owners — the need to use multiple applications from different charging station operators, representatives of JSC Kama told Izvestia on July 1.
In the unified interface of the Ya — Atom application, you can search for the nearest charging stations, display their statuses in real time, integrate payment instruments, launch and manage charging sessions, and book connectors. It also has functions for building the optimal route to the selected station.
The developers note that the advantage of the new application is the ability to actually manage charging sessions, rather than just monitoring the status of charging stations. It is already available for download for users of Android devices, an iOS version will appear later.
The launch of production of the Atom electric car is scheduled for the current year, electric cars will be assembled at the Moskvich plant. In mid-June, Kama reported on the completion of equipping the production site in Moscow, where the assembly line will be carried out. The body welding and painting zones, as well as the calibration, testing and quality control zone, are ready for the start of mass production.
On June 25, Kama announced that the development team of the Russian Atom electric car had assembled a batch of 26 "verification" vehicles, which was required to confirm readiness for mass production and configure all production processes.
