A set of participants in the accelerator "Factory of video games" will open in Moscow

The fourth season of the Moscow accelerator "Video Game Factory" will be held in Moscow. Applications will be accepted online from July 2 to July 18, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"For the first time, experts from all over Russia are invited to participate — programmers, digital artists, designers and others. The jury will select two dozen of the most promising projects, the authors of which will present their pilot games to investors," Sergunina said.

Both experienced teams and novice developers can participate in the accelerator. The program includes individual consultations with leading experts and online training courses. Participants will be helped to finalize their ideas and present them.

During the first three seasons of Fabrika, the teams prepared 60 pilot versions of video games in various genres and attracted a total of 150 million rubles of investment.

According to Sergunina, the city systematically supports this industry. For example, the Skolkovo Innovation Center is currently creating Russia's first video game and animation cluster.

Industry specialists can also receive grants, take part in business missions and international industry exhibitions. This year, Moscow companies will attend events in China, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, India and other countries.
