An eight-year-old taxi driver who ran over was arrested for two months

A taxi driver who ran over an eight-year-old boy in Odintsovo, Moscow region, was arrested for two months. This was reported on June 30 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It was clarified that the child was on the playground in the courtyard of an apartment building on Triumfalnaya Street with another boy. At the time of the fatal accident, he walked away from his friend and decided to run across the road at the entrance, but a car came at him from around the bend.

The tragedy occurred on June 28. It was reported that the child died from his injuries in an ambulance. Then the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case on violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence (Part 3 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
