Traders who defrauded dozens of people were sentenced to a penal colony in Moscow

In Moscow, a verdict was passed on traders who deceived several dozen people. This was reported on June 30 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Basmanny Court of the capital.
Mikhail Kolodyazhny received seven years of imprisonment in a general regime colony, Vadim Fayzullin — five years, Evgeny Baklanov — four years and six months.
Nabil Khilva, Tatiana Khomyakova, Artyom Mironov and Ruslan Tarakanov were sentenced to three years of probation.
The defendants in the case are connected with a large brokerage company from Krasnodar, which offered people quick and large earnings: the victims agreed to participate in the auction, invested millions of rubles and lost their savings. Vadim Fayzullin was the CEO of the brokerage company.
Earlier in the day, Irina Volk, an official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, said that law enforcement agencies had detained residents of St. Petersburg who were accomplices of telephone fraudsters who defrauded about 120 people of 150 million rubles. The defendants were charged and taken into custody.
