In the Crimean safari park "Taigan", a girl gave an orangutan an electronic cigarette to try "following the example" of other people. She told Izvestia about this on June 30.

"I had an example in front of me, so I decided to do it too. No one said anything," said the visitor.

He noted that he has a negative attitude towards vaping and did so because of the actions of other vacationers in the park.

On May 27, an unknown person tried to poison a leopard with pills at the Moscow Zoo. It was noted that the cameras recorded how the man threw pills to the leopard through the fence. Police officers later detained the suspect. Security was also tightened at the zoo after the incident.
